LaserFabrik Utrecht II - Equipment and beams
The room holding the laser equipment for the Utrecht University Sol laser event was open to the public this evening.
We proceeded to the 19th floor of the building, where we could see the lasers up close, and look at the beams from an adjacent window.
The glass was removed from the windows in the projection room, otherwise even the reflected beams would be class IV. 7 installations were set up, with powers between 8 and 20 watts each, adding up to almost 100 watts of pure light.
